Bei der Open Health HACKademy#2 entwickeln drei interdisziplinäre Teams Open-Source-Hilfsmittel, sogenannte Careables. Denn vielen Menschen mit Behinderung fehlt es an jenen Hilfsmitteln, die sie zum Leben und Arbeiten brauchen. Ich werde die Teams für ihre Präsentation coachen.

In den Teams arbeiten Studierende unterschiedlicher Fachrichtungen, Menschen mit Behinderung und Maker gemeinsam an individualisierten Joysticks für Elektrorollstühle, einem Fußfahrrad für Menschen mit Spastiken und einem Verbindungselement zwischen Handrollstuhl und E-Scooter.
Wir laden alle Interessierten ein am Sonntag den 6. Oktober um 15:00 Uhr in die TU Lehrstuhl Arbeitslehre in die Marchstr. 23 zur öffentlichen Abschlusspräsentation der Entwicklerteams ein.
Die Open Health HACKademy wird im Rahmen der Projekte Match My Maker (www.matchmymaker.de) und Careables (www.careables.org) von den gemeinnützigen Organisationen be able e.V. und Agile Heap e.V. / Prototypes veranstaltet in Kooperation mit der TU Berlin und der D-School / Hasso-Plattner-Institut Potsdam.

At the Open Health HACKademy#2, three interdisciplinary teams are developing open source tools known as careables. Because many people with disabilities lack the tools they need to live and work.
In the teams, students of different disciplines, people with disabilities and makers work together on individualized joysticks for electric wheelchairs, a footbicycle for people with spasticity and a connecting element between hand wheelchair and e-scooter.
We invite everyone who is interested to come on Sunday the 6th of October @ 3.00 pm to TU, Marchstr. 23 for the final presentation of the development teams.
